100% Chambourcin
Notes from the Winemaker: Chambourcin has proven to be a great varietal for our port-style wine. Offering great black fruit notes such as plum and blueberry, this varietal carries the weight this bold style quite well. We fortify with Brandy and age the wine in whiskey barrels to produce this Port-style wine. This higher alcohol style wine (17.5% ABV) is balanced nicely by 4% residual sugar for a rich mouthfeel.

Love to end the day with a glass of Dusk! A delicious, not too sweet, port-style wine. My favorite pairing I've had with this wine is a blueberry cobbler- I soaked the blueberries overnight in Dusk and it was magnificent!

A great Virginia port-style! Perfect chocolate pairing and I've actually heard it pairs nicely with cigars, as well.
