A flagship of the 50 West portfolio, our 2021 Aldie Heights Cuvée has earned its place among our most celebrated wines. Its selection for the 2024 Virginia Governor’s Cup Case, recognizing it as one of the top 12 wines in the Commonwealth, made this vintage especially memorable.
September marks the final club allocation of the 2021 Aldie Heights Cuvée before we transition to the next vintage. Whether you open a bottle this fall or tuck one away for the years ahead, this is one last opportunity to add this award-winning vintage to your cellar.
2023 Ashby Gap
A Standout Vintage, Reimagined...and Saying Farewell Soon
Another 50 West flagship and longtime club favorite, Ashby Gap has traditionally shown a more restrained, elegant side of Virginia red wine. The 2023 vintage tells a slightly different story. Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, the 2023 Ashby Gap reflects the dry conditions that defined Virginia's growing season. The result is a richer expression of a familiar favorite and a beautiful example of why 2023 is shaping up to be such an exciting vintage for Virginia red wines.
September also marks the final club allocation of the 2023 Ashby Gap before we transition to the next vintage. The concentration and promise of this vintage make it a great choice to be enjoyed today or to be cellared for a later date.
